As a 2011 graduate, Nicole was part of one of the first graduates taught according to the “new” accounting standards. Her experience includes all four of the current accounting standards in Canada (International Financial Reporting Standards, Accounting Standards for Private Enterprise, Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations and Accounting Standards for Pension Plans).

About Nicole

Since joining Bateman MacKay, Nicole has become a valued member of the Assurance Team. Her role provides audit, review and notice to reader financial statements and preparation of corporate income tax returns to clients across numerous industries- from charities to investment companies, medical corporations, manufacturing and distribution industries.  Nicole also assists individuals with their personal tax planning and compliance needs.

Nicole began her public accounting career as a university co-op student and obtained her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designation in 2014 and her Licensed Public Accountant (LPA) in 2018. She graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (accounting) with a minor in Philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University.

In her personal life Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and is an avid equestrian.
